I ventured out to Karizawa in Nagano Prefecture.
The mountains in Nagano are well known for it's abundance of wild mushrooms! Not only is it the area with the largest variety of wild mushrooms, but it is also the prefecture with the highest number of fatal poisonous mushroom related deaths in Japan!
